I did an in place upgrade of Windows 10. The previous OS was 8.1. I knew this Sony All-In-One NVidia driver would cause me grief. Sure enough, everything went ok (once I fully Windows Updated) except the video driver was set at the ancient Microsoft default. I knew I had struggled to get it working in 8.1 but I could not get any of the driver setups I had saved on the machine to work. I was able to edit the infs from the install package using an existing one to match the hardware id of my card as found in device manager. in order to manually find it, to reduce the noise, I had to get rid of all the other ones in the inf so I could see which one I had hacked. I know this is a lame post which should have more details. Maybe next time I have to do it.
